R.H. Marlin Crane Rental takes delivery of Grove GMK5250L at CONEXPO 2017

R.H. Marlin Crane Rental has taken delivery of a new Grove GMK5250L all-terrain crane at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Indianapolis-based rental company celebrated the purchase during a special ceremony at the Manitowoc Cranes booth, during which Riverdale, Illinois-based Walter Payton Power Equipment handed the crane over. The GMK5250L was also adorned with the R.H. Marlin logo for the event. Manitowoc presented the company with a commemorative plaque and a customized, hand-painted hard hat for the occasion, one of only 12 ever produced. 

The 300 USt capacity GMK5250L is the first mobile crane to feature the VIAB turbo clutch module, which eliminates fluid overheating and clutch burning while simultaneously delivering improved fuel economy. The VIAB module also enables class-leading maneuverability and driver comfort by working in tandem with the crane’s integrated retarder, resulting in wear-free braking and starting.
