The Lindenstrasse road in Ismaning runs parallel to the grounds of FC Ismaning. It is currently being renovated by construction company Seidl Bau. The sidewalk on both sides of the street is being repaved and the entire road surface renewed. “We are using two Wacker Neuson rammers for compacting pipeline trenches, small corner areas that are difficult to reach and the edges of sidewalks,” explains Georg Köglsperger, site manager at Seidl Bau. “We are more than impressed with the compaction performance of these proven two-cycle rammer systems from Wacker Neuson. As a company, we are also committed to using low-emission equipment to ensure our employees are exposed to the lowest possible levels of carbon monoxide (CO)”.

Wacker Neuson’s renowned two-cycle rammers certainly excel on the emissions front. They release significantly less exhaust fumes than four-cycle engines, making them kinder to operators and the environment. All Wacker Neuson two-cycle rammers are powered by the WM 80, Wacker Neuson’s own two-cycle engine. It is the most environmentally friendly and powerful gasoline rammer engine in the world, boasting an impressive power/weight ratio and a long lifecycle. The WM 80 delivers a lot of power and is tailored to the Wacker Neuson rammer system. “It is the perfect engine for extended deployments on construction sites,” confirms Georg Köglsperger.

Seidl Bau is currently using two different rammer models on the Ismaning construction site. The BS 50-2 is the classic two-cycle model and has proved its worth many times on various Seidl construction projects. The second model, the BS 60-2i, features a separate oil injection system and two different tanks for gasoline and oil. This patented system ensures a perfect mix so that operators no longer have to worry about premixing. “Wacker Neuson products are always very innovative. We have been a customer for many years now and highly rate the company's sophisticated products together with the professional support from Klaus Kilian at the Wacker Neuson service station in Unterschleissheim,” reports Georg Köglsperger.

In addition to vibratory rammers, Seidl Bau has other Wacker Neuson products in its equipment pool including various vibratory plates, breakers and generators.

With a total of 68 sales and service stations across Germany, Wacker Neuson supports its customers at local level. At each station customers can purchase or rent equipment and choose from a broad portfolio of complementary services. Proximity to customers and responsiveness are the core drivers of Wacker Neuson’s sales strategy.
