Every year we outdo ourselves thanks to all the members, sponsors, friends, and partners who join us and make our annual meeting a resounding success.
We started the day by visiting ITA, the Aragon Institute of Technology, a fascinating visit where we explored all its spaces and functions, a key point for technological innovation and research in Aragon.
After addressing the mandatory items related to economic management, promotion, and marketing as outlined in the Assembly's agenda, the Economic Forum and the Technical Forum started.
In the forum, guest speakers Chris Sleight from OFF HIGHWAY RESEARCH and Ricardo Santamaría from CESCE updated us on the current situation and forecasts for our sector, the challenges we face, and their perspectives on how to tackle them.
Following this, in a panel moderated by Jorge Cuartero, ANMOPYC's Manager, the speakers debated the need for talent in the sector from various perspectives according to the characteristics of their companies.
The panelists were: Jose Antonio Nieto Alvarez from PUTZMEISTER IBÉRICA, Valero Serentill from RITCHIE BROS, Antonio Garcia Rivero from FENAEX, and Stoian Markov from HİDROMEK.
To conclude, Félix Gil and Gabriel García from INTEGRA TECNOLOGÍA delivered an inspiring talk on how AI can help us become more productive and efficient, showcasing the wide range of possibilities this tool can offer companies.
In the Technical Forum, we learned about the steps companies need to take to tackle the significant challenge of decarbonization, providing attendees with a clear and practical vision to start and advance on this path.
The speakers were:
Sergio Serrano from ANMOPYC, Andrés Ferrer from OMAWA, Maria Heras from ULMA and Iván Moya from UNE, the Spanish Association for Standardization.
Finally, Jordi Perramón, President of ANMOPYC, announced he would be stepping down. AUSA, the company he has led until now, has been a member of ANMOPYC since 1985 and part of the Committee since 1988. Jordi has served as President of the Association since 2017.
His farewell speech moved everyone present, who gave him a standing ovation for several minutes. The emotions did not end there, as we also bid farewell to Irene Carmen from DICSA and Rafael Simón from CINTASA, who have served as Secretary and Treasurer of our ANMOPYC Committee, respectively. We also said goodbye to Angel Sola, Manager of ANDAMIOS TENDO, who is retiring.
To conclude, we all shared a networking lunch in a cordial and relaxed atmosphere.
Thanks to ITA for hosting us and to our sponsors for all their support:
