ROBOCUT blazes new trail in Iceland

Iceland has become the latest country to see ROBOCUT in action as the nation’s first machine began tackling slope maintenance on the roads around Reykjavik.

McConnel’s Icelandic distributor Velfang secured a deal for the all-terrain remote control work platform with a busy contractor who is using it to tackle landscaped areas, verges and embankments around the city.

Velfang’s McConnel product specialist Skarphéðinn Erlingsson said the customer was pleased with performance of the innovative new machine, and the successful sale would help Velfang raise the profile of ROBOCUT in Iceland.
