ROZMITAL launches the new SD-300R disc mower with roller conditioner

• ROZMITAL launches the SD-300R rear side-mounted disc mower with a cylindrical conditioner, designed for forage processing.

After last year´s presentation of the prototype at the prestigious Agritechnica fair, Strojírny Rožmitál s.r.o. is launching a new model of the SD-300R rear side-mounted disc mower with cylindrical conditioner. This new model extends the range of ROZMITAL mowers with a powerful version designed for forage processing such as clover and alfalfa.

„A year ago at Agritechnica we promised to bring another innovative machine to the market, and today the SD-300R is officially available to all farmers. After intensive testing in various conditions, the machine has been officially on sale since October, and interested parties can order it from our network of authorized dealers worldwide,” says Pavel Jahoda, Sales Director of Strojírny Rožmitál s.r.o.

SD-300R technical specifications

The new SD-300R disc mower, with a working width of 2.98 m, is a rear side-mounted model with a rubber roller conditioner that can be easily manually deactivated. The farmer can simply slide and lock the top non-driven roller into the top position, resulting in free passage of forage without squeezing. This variability allows the operator to adapt the machine to his current conditions and needs.

The SD-300R cutterbar, developed and manufactured in-house by ROZMITAL, consists of seven discs with quick-release blades, ensuring high performance and a quality cut. The bar is made of quality materials to cope with high daily performance. There is a comfortable hydropneumatic over-relief and the machine can be easily adjusted to the optimum working position. Thanks to the central suspension, the mower can efficiently follow the ground up to angles of +/-15°. The standard cutting height is adjustable from 4 to 8 cm, and the mower can be equipped with abrasion resistant steel creepers that increase the stubble height by an additional 20 or 50 mm while protecting the cutting bar from damage.

Customers can take advantage of a special pre-season offer and order the SD-300R before the end of the january 2025 with a 10% discount. This new model not only offers high quality and flexibility for meadow work, but also represents a good investment.

ROZMITAL´s ongoing development plans

The new SD-300R model completes the range of machines with cylindrical conditioners, with the SC-301R front disc mower already launched in 2022. Strojírny Rozmitál s.r.o. continues to work on expanding its portfolio, with the current focus on the development of the SM-820R mower combination with a working width of 8.2 m. This new combination with cylindrical conditioner will complete the range of machines with this technology.
