High mobility and versatility, high uptime, and class-leading production performance with precisely controllable product quality: these are the key strengths of SBM Mineral Processing’s mobile plant technology for processing and concrete production. For the first time at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the Austrian manufacturer will present its mobile crushers and mobile concrete mixing plants together (Silver Lot, Booth SV3122). Backed by decades of engineering experience, SBM is a full-line supplier for North America’s building materials production industry.

Hybrid-electrified flagship

The tracked SBM REMAX 600 large impact crusher will make its North American trade show debut in Las Vegas. Whether used as a powerful primary crusher with a maximum capacity of 600 tph and a feed size of up to 40 in., or as a “mobile gravel or recycling plant” producing up to five end products in a single pass, the 80-ton flagship of SBM Mobiles sets new benchmarks in quarries and recycling. It delivers the performance of much larger machines in the 100–120 ton class – while offering significantly better mobility, flexibility, and operating economy.

Like all nine JAWMAX® jaw crushers and REMAX impact crushers with operating weights starting at 23 tons and production capacities from 250 tph, the REMAX 600 features a hybrid electrified drive concept. The benefits of what is likely one of the most advanced diesel-electric plug-in solutions on the market are especially evident in the large crusher segment: With its onboard Cummins X15 diesel engine paired with a 520 kVA generator and predominantly electric auxiliary drives, the REMAX 600 consumes up to 40% less diesel than comparable fully hydraulic or partially electrified systems – even under full load. Savings increase further when using the optional mains connection while maintaining full machine functionality.

SBM’s hybrid concept also delivers advantages in uptime and environmental performance: fewer hydraulic systems mean reduced maintenance and fewer potential leak points. In addition, the onboard diesel engine consistently operates in a low-wear, low-speed load range – resulting in lower noise levels and reduced exhaust emissions.

The REMAX 600 offers an extensive range of standard equipment and optional add-ons. As standard, the impact crusher (in let: 55 x 40 in. / 1,380 x 1,000 mm) is preceded by a double-deck circular vibrating screen; attachable production screens are available with up to three decks. For particularly high-quality recycled end products, the plant can be equipped with two discharge magnets: a cross-belt magnet directly above the main discharge conveyor, and a highly efficient longitudinal discharge magnet above the multi-deck add-on screens. These screens can also be equipped with up to three air classifiers.

All equipment remains on the machine during one-piece transport. Thanks to quick-connect cabling, the add-on screens can be removed quickly – allowing flexible use of the unit as a primary crusher. The intelligent SBM CRUSH CONTROL system supports fast commissioning and enables safe, efficient operation even for less experienced operators, thanks to comprehensive sensor technology and automatic adjustment of all plant functions.

Thanks to high-quality design and flexible installation, SBM EUROMIX mixing plants – shown here: EUROMIX 3300 SPACE – are also suitable as additions to, or replacements for, stationary concrete plants.<br>IMAGE SOURCE: SBM Mineral Processing

Mobile concrete production without compromise…

...has been the promise of SBM EUROMIX®mobile wet-batch mixing plants for more than 25 years. Without foundations, the plants can be installed and ready for operation in less than two days. High-precision dosing equipment and BHS twin-shaft mixers ensure consistent production of standard mixes, advanced specialty concretes, or customer-specific recipes.

This versatility makes EUROMIX plants ideal not only for temporary use in road construction, civil engineering, and tunneling projects. Increasingly, ready-mix producers and precast manufacturers are also choosing SBM technology as a highly flexible alternative to stationary plants – especially where space is limited or relocation capability is required.

Efficient insulation of the central EUROMIX mixer module, with integrated three-sided concrete discharge, enables year-round operation even under harsh conditions. In addition to the mixer and dosing technology, the module integrates plant electrics, a high-pressure water system for automated cleaning and air compressors. Service access to all components from both sides ensures fast and safe maintenance.

Aggregates, binders, and additives are stored in portable silos, hoppers, and storage modules that can be configured to match project requirements. Fully automated control and monitoring of the production process enables low-staff, 24/7 operation of the complete plant.

Today, the EUROMIX series includes models with production capacities from 100 to well over 200 yd³/hr (80–175 m³/hr). This enables daily outputs of up to 2,600 yd³ (2,000 m³) of hardened concrete in a single shift – and significantly more when operating two plants in parallel.

SBM’s two largest models, introduced to the North American market just over two years ago, fall within this performance range. Alongside the EUROMIX 3300 SPACE (4.35 yd³/batch; 190 yd³/hr / 3.3 m³; 145 m³/hr), the flagship EUROMIX 4000 features a 5.2 yd³ (4.0 m³) BHS twin-shaft mixer and a production capacity of 230 yd³/hr (175 m³/hr). The EUROMIX 4000 will be on display in Las Vegas.

Dealers wanted

For both its mobile crushing plants and its concrete mixing plants, SBM consistently relies on in-house developed components and key technologies from leading international partners. In-house production and assembly ensure consistently high quality standards. Targeted standardization across models – for example for crusher add-ons or modular plant components – creates clear benefits in international sales and customer service, while supporting competitive market offerings.

Accordingly, SBM Mineral Processing sees its mobile crushing plants and mobile concrete mixing technology as ideal spearheads for sustainable expansion in Canada and the United States. Following the successful example of its comprehensive European network, SBM’s expert teams in processing and recycling as well as concrete mixing technology support specialized dealers and distribution partners to achieve strong regional market penetration.

New partners will join the network in the near future, and SBM is actively seeking additional contacts at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Interested companies are invited to visit the SBM booth.
