TYRI has recently added to our technologically advanced, industry leading 3D software programs that allow a more precise and accurate analysis to be compiled on machines in the development and design phase along with existing machines.
A photometric analysis is the measurement of the properties of light, especially the luminous and lux intensity, which is the amount of light output from the light, and the amount of light falling onto a given surface. In the past a light was mounted at a particular height and the lux was measured based on no obstructions of the light either from the machine or surrounding environment.
TYRI’s software accounts for the machine’s design features, along with the surrounding environment, and the light application. Each of these elements’ reflective and obstruction characteristics are incorporated into the analysis to create an accurate and realistic analysis. The in-depth analysis TYRI offers allows OEM’s to visualize how a machine’s design and location of a light will affect the operator’s ability to see prior to actually building a machine and
mounting a light. As a result this saves OEM’s the time and cost of in-production design changes.
