Ahead of Bauma China 2024, Sinoboom introduced a broad selection of brand-new, new-generation and updated MEWP products to an invited audience of over 140 international customers, at a special event titled International New Product Launch and Experience Session under the theme of “Aim Higher, Unlimited Future”, at their Changsha headquarters. Guests were also given a tour of the Sinoboom Intelligent Manufacturing Park, allowing them to see the efficient, intelligent development and production facilities for themselves.
Chairman Steven Liu gave a speech welcoming the audience and emphasizing their shared passion and commitment to driving the aerial platform industry forward. He highlighted four key principles which inform Sinoboom’s philosophy: superior performance, excellent manufacturability, attractive appearance, and convenient maintenance. “We are not only pursuing technical excellence, but also striving to be a transformative force that can lead the industry.”
Director of Product R&D Center, Simon Sun, introduced Sinoboom’s product development and intelligent technology development strategy. He outlined Sinoboom’s strong, international R&D capabilities, with a large, globally coordinated team, and world-class laboratories which allow for an integrated testing and verification process from component to complete machines. He went on to highlight Sinoboom’s global manufacturing ability, with localized teams and supply chains enabling optimum service and responsiveness to local market needs.
Simon was followed by Peter Peng, Head of Product Planning Department, and Mitch Ely, General Manager of Sinoboom Australia, introducing 18 new and updated products, many of which were driven into the venue in a coordinated display. Sinoboom showcased innovative models, including lightweight, efficient articulating boom lifts like AB10J, AB15J Plus, and AB22J Plus, offering enhanced hydraulic systems and increased capacities. The AB26(E)J Plus offers 25.65m height, 19.1m outreach, low transportation costs, and is ideal for narrow worksites. The TB38(E)RJ Plus and TB42(E)RJ Plus high-meter telescopic lifts feature a new X chassis and can be driven into containers for transportation. Compact solutions such as the VM05EL (VM160EL) vertical mast and the upgraded scissor lifts (0407EN, 0607EN) ensure stability and versatility. The GKS32EL truck-mounted lift delivers robust off-road and high-reach performance. Eco-friendly options such as the 0808E ALL (2732E ALL) scissor lift. New-generation electric and diesel RT scissor lifts 1323RE / RD and 1623RE / RD enhance efficiency, with modular designs streamlining maintenance across models.
Ian Pratt, Managing Director of the New Product Division, then introduced the Sinoboom telehandlers and spider lifts and gave a presentation on the latest spider lift and telehandler products developed by Sinoboom, and the customer-centric approach to product development. For the spider lift range, product quality, range and agility of operation, and ease of transport are all key considerations. The telehandler range has been developed to be strong, productive and reliable, with optimal safety features and comfortable, easy operation.
In addition to new products, various technologies were demonstrated:
Boom lifts featuring 360° tank turn ability, four-wheel independent control allowing for accurate movement through tight angles.
The new Panoramic Camera system brings the detail of ground conditions to the operator and improves safety when driving, rotating or lowering. It will greatly improve working efficiency at height.
Sinoboom’s customers attending the event were thoroughly impressed by the demonstrations of new equipment and technology, seeing them as a strong indicator of Sinoboom’s expertise in product innovation, and underlining its position as a leader in the MEWP industry.
At Bauma China all the new and upgraded models will be on show, alongside other high-quality equipment from Sinoboom’s comprehensive range. Sinoboom are at Booth A50 in the outdoor area during the show.
