Skanska builds schools in Baltimore, USA, for USD 88 M, about SEK 820 M

Skanska has signed a contract with Maryland Stadium Authority and Baltimore City Public Schools to build the new Patterson High School and Claremont Middle/High School in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The contract is worth USD 88 M, about SEK 820 M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2019.

The Patterson High School and Claremont Middle/High School co-location project on the site of the existing Patterson High School includes construction of a new three-story, 22,500 square-meter building. The building is designed to be LEED silver certified. Upon completion, Skanska will demolish the existing school and complete additional site upgrades to parking lots, the baseball field, practice field and softball field.

Construction began in August 2019 and is scheduled for completion in June 2022.
