Participation in the event is part of the company’s broader business strategy focused on expansion into the UK market and establishing new commercial partnerships.
At the SMS Agro stand, visitors will have the opportunity to explore four machines from the brand’s current portfolio: the SEVERIT 500 seedbed cultivator with a 5-meter working width, the TALON CLASSIC 300/6 subsoiler with a 3-meter width and soil loosening depth of up to 45 cm, the versatile 3-meter pneumatic seed drill SMART 300, and the LANIO 600 tine harrow with a 6-meter working width. These machines cover a wide range of tasks—from grassland renovation to intensive soil cultivation—emphasizing high efficiency, ease of operation, and reliability.
"The United Kingdom is a promising market with great potential for us. Our machines have earned the trust of farmers across four continents thanks to their robust construction, simple maintenance, and high-quality workmanship. We believe they will appeal to British farmers as well," says Petr Jirsa, Sales Director of SMS Agro. "Participation in the Cereals exhibition is a key step for us. We aim to establish new contacts, gain direct feedback from farmers, and present SMS Agro as a strong and trustworthy partner."
SMS Agro has been manufacturing agricultural machinery in Rokycany since 1993, though its engineering heritage dates back to the 19th century. Today, the company offers solutions for both small-scale farmers and large agricultural enterprises—from primary soil cultivation and seeding technology to machines for grassland and pasture care. High-quality craftsmanship, a focus on innovation, and accessible service have made the SMS CZ brand a trusted partner not only in the Czech Republic but also in more than 35 countries around the world.
Farmers looking for reliable and affordable equipment, as well as those interested in potential cooperation, are welcome to visit SMS Agro at stand no. 898b. The company is actively seeking new business partners and distributors for the UK market.
You are warmly invited to stop by our stand!
SEVERIT 500
The SEVERIT cultivator is an ideal machine for seedbed preparation, characterized by versatility and high efficiency. Thanks to the combination of up to eight different working units, it can not only level the surface of the land and break up clods in one pass over, but also prepare a perfect seedbed. It is suitable for classic agrotechnics after plowing and for minimization technologies during shallow soil cultivation. To ensure optimal results, it is important that plant residues are incorporated to a depth of at least 5 cm and have the smallest possible size.

Smart 300
The versatile SMART 300 seed drill will also be on display. This universal seeder is designed for establishing and overseeding grasslands as well as sowing field crops. With a working width of 3 meters, it is ideal for small to medium-sized farms. The machine stands out for its robust construction and can handle even stony soils. Its seeding technology enables precise seed placement without damaging the soil structure.

Talon Classic 300/6
Representing the subsoiler category, the TALON CLASSIC 300/6 with a 3 m working width features angled tines that loosen soil up to 45 cm deep. It is designed to break up compacted soil layers, enhancing water infiltration and root growth. With adjustable tine options, it performs effectively even on heavy soils.
Lanio 600
Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the LANIO 600 tine harrow with a working width of 6 meters. The main working elements are tines arranged in six rows, with a 25 cm spacing between each tine. The flexible tines break up the soil surface and bring air to the roots, prevent moisture loss from the soil, and help eliminate weeds. The aggressiveness of the tines can be adjusted, and the tines themselves are available in diameters of 6, 7, or 8 mm. Upon request, the machine can be equipped with a leveling rake or a seed drill. Thanks to its low weight, the LANIO can also be used with low-power tractors.
