Steelwrist to launch screening buckets in cooperation with MultaVEX

The market for environmental friendly and fuel efficient recycling solutions for work site material is growing. Recycling material directly on the job site has a rapid payback and numerous products have been launched in recent years. Steelwrist is now launching a patented range of screening buckets that can handle any type of material, is suitable for renting and with extremely low maintenance cost.

“With increasing focus fuel efficiency and environmental issues we are extremely happy to introduce the Steelwrist screening buckets since we think it is the only solution that can handle any type of material – wet material, big stones, construction waste – everything can be screened. Compared to alternative solutions we are also very satisfied with the simple design and few moving parts which is very much in line with our core value of simplicity” says Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO.

“The cooperation with Steelwrist gives us a strong partner for international growth. Steelwrist will sell the product under own brand with exclusivity in several markets. MultaVex has rapidly gained a high market share in Finland, which is probably “the home of screening buckets”, thanks to the high versatility together with the direct drive technology that makes the solution virtually maintenance free”, says Eero Paski, CEO of MultaVEX.

The Steelwrist screening bucket operating principle is based on a patented direct drive camshaft technology which reduces the number of moving parts. Screening sizes can be adjusted from 25mm to larger sizes in just a few minutes and all types of material can be screened. Screening buckets will be available for excavators between 3 and 35 tons.

“The rising fuel costs and landfill fees have for a long time been an expensive item to machinery contractors and builders, when carrying out unscreened material and bringing in fill and topsoil as replacement. By using a Steelwrist screening bucket you can cut costs and extra work steps by screening material locally. All material is hazardous waste when unscreened, but valuable material when screened. As a final twist the Steelwrist screening bucket is probably the only one that is suitable in a rental fleet, and we look forward to taking up the discussion with rental companies in order to make it easy for potential customers to understand the value”, says Anders Barreng, Steelwrist Sales Director.
