Swiss dealer Jaquet celebrates its 340 Anniversary (yes, 340 years!)

Jaquet SA, Linden Comansa’s dealer in Romandie (the French-speaking region in Switzerland), is celebrating its 340 Anniversary this year. The company, engaged among other activities in the rental of construction machinery, held on June 19th a party at the “Juraparc” wild animal park, near its headquarters in the town of Vallorbe, with more than 200 clients, friends and suppliers like Linden Comansa as guests.

The Jaquet family founded in 1675 a factory of handmade screws, mainly for a local industry that revolved around iron, very abundant in the area of Vallorbe. With the passage of the years it expanded its production to chains, hardware, metal constructions... until it opened a new business in 1960 with the rental of construction machinery. Nowadays, Jaquet employs 100 people and represents leading manufacturers of machinery in the area of Romandie.

Since 2012, Jaquet is the exclusive distributor of Linden Comansa in the French-speaking area of Switzerland. In addition, it has its own rental fleet of tower cranes, formed by Linden Comansa models 1LC90, 11LC150 and 16LC220 that worked in projects like the expansion of the premises of luxury watch maker Hublot or the construction of a new household waste recycling centre, both in Nyon.
