TECHAGRO 2016 – Brno Czech Republic

Between 3rd April – 7th April 2016, the exhibition centre in Brno, Czech Republic, will host four agrarian trade fairs headed by the agricultural machinery fair TECHAGRO. These fairs rank amongst the most visited events of this kind in Europe, last edition was attended by 743 exhibitors from 41 countries and the trade fairs were visited by 119,013 people coming from 46 countries.

This year‘s edition is marked by the highest number of foreign visitors in the entire history of the trade fairs. Numerous groups of exhibitors will arrive from Hungary and Italy, for the first time there will also be representatives from Korea arriving. A joint exhibition stand will introduce exhibitors associated under the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. There will also be strong presence of firms offering electronic control, navigation systems, automation and other intelligent solutions, the so-called ”precise agriculture”. For this year, we will also extend the offer of post-harvest technologies and machines, Hall E will provide a comprehensive offer of spare parts for agricultural machines.

The agricultural trade fair TECHAGRO will be accompanied by the forestry and game-keeping fair SILVA REGINA. This event will take place in Hall Z, where you can purchase hunting clothing, firearms, ammunition, hunting optics and other ranges of products related to hunting and outdoor activities. The SILVA REGINA trade fair preparation involves a number of public and private organisations that have prepared an interesting supporting programme for the visitors. You can look forward to bugle competition, performance by falconers and cynologists, interesting guests and music performance. Examples of taxidermy will be showcased at the stand of the Czech Union of Taxidermy, whose representatives will introduce the history of taxidermy and offer consulting services. A part of Hall Z will be dedicated to the „Lobkowitz House“ exhibition. It will offer an exhibition of this family’s trophies, collection of historic maps and uniforms as well as historic coaches. The outdoor area will be occupied by professional woodcutters who will compete but also build mangers and carve wooden statues. There will also be a bee hall offering bee-hiving technologies and bee products.

These four trade fairs will be extended by a fair dedicated to renewable energies in agriculture and forestry, BIOMASA. Practical demonstrations of biomass processing, in particular wood mass, will be provided in front of hall P in outdoor space R1 allocated for these purposes by the organisers. „ The interest of firms who will take part in these live demonstrating, already exceeds the last edition and the interest is shown again by the leading manufacturers. This event is also interesting for laymen who normally do not see these machines in operation as well as for professionals who intend to purchase such equipment. They can come here to compare a large number of machines in one place,“ says Radovana Pastrnakova, PR trade fair manager.

The last trade fair is the international veterinary fair ANIMAL VETEX which will offer an exhibition of Czech breed livestock.
