Terex Utilities Attends the 2015 Electric Utility Fleet Manager’s Conference

Terex Utilities attended the Electric Utilities Fleet Managers Conference held annually in Williamsburg, VA May 31st – June 3rd. The conference, which brings fleet managers of major electric utilities together to discuss and share issues and ideas that all are faced with today, also includes a one day equipment display which starts off with a “drive through”.

The drive through allows the exhibitors the opportunity to address the fleet managers in attendance to talk about their company and the new/improved equipment on display. This year, the speakers for us were Don Anderson, Judie Taylor, Dan Brenden, Nick Cammisa and Tony Rust who all talked about “Engaging Together” and what that means to the audience. And the way that we were able to bring that subject to life during our portion of the drive through was through the introduction of the new look Terex Utilities (with our recent acquisition of DUECO), through better equipment design (with the General 80 with a fiberglass 4th section, the TM-100 with a lower overall stored height and lower installed weight and our new Cobra-styled jib on our LTM40) and through a more efficiently structured service organization. From all accounts, the subject resonated very well with the audience!
