In an unfortunate turn of events, the 11th international demonstration fair for the raw materials and building materials industry had to be cancelled without an alternative event this year because of the unpredictable development of the Corona pandemic. A new date has now been set for the 11th steinexpo. The national and international raw materials and building materials industry will again meet in Nieder-Ofleiden in the state of Hesse in Germany from 23 to 29 August 2023.
The course of developments related to the pandemic left no other option as to take the reluctant decision at the beginning of the year that steinexpo 2021 would not take place.
Now all trade fair fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief: In consultation with Mitteldeutsche Hartstein-Industrie AG (MHI Group), which will again be making its quarry available for the trade fair, the organisers of Geoplan GmbH were able to set the date for the international demonstration trade fair.
This means that Europe's largest basalt quarry will be the venue for this unique demo show in the late summer of 2023. Leading manufacturers of construction machinery, suppliers of mineral processing technology and equipment, suppliers of add-on equipment and service providers will then, as usual, present their machinery and plants, industry innovations and service offerings on the four days of the trade fair.
Trade Fair Director Dr. Friedhelm Rese: “It is now time to look ahead. Together we will again make the 11th steinexpo from 23 to 26 August 2023 another successful platform for the raw materials and building materials industry.”
