“The excavator will be beneficial to our gas and water enterprises, which will enhance future economic development opportunities for the city. We are pleased to partner with industries in our city whenever possible. The City would like to thank YANMAR for locating to Adairsville. YANMAR continues to be a great business partner, and has helped the city in numerous ways, such as the GED program and canned food drives for the food bank,” Carson said.

Tim Fernandez, President of YANMAR America Corporation said, “We are excited to expand our relationship with The City of Adairsville by providing a great product to assist them in being more efficient and in helping our local community. Earlier this year, YANMAR also installed an energy-efficient Gas Heat Pump heating and cooling system at City Hall. They needed a solution and YANMAR provided it, and we are thrilled to continue to provide them with more efficient solutions.”

Starting with the launch of the world's first compact excavator in 1971, YANMAR has since expanded its excavator offerings to eight total models, seven of which have true zero tail swing. Each excavator is purpose-built to overcome the most challenging conditions, work with unparalleled power, conserve fuel and provide exceptional flexibility with the same stability and performance you would expect from more conventional excavators.
