The Kverneland Turbo: New Options for Operation in all Seasons and Conditions

Versatility and strong performance for best productivity

The Kverneland Turbo is prepared for all seasons and conditions. In order to suit the various requirements, Kverneland offers new options for the full Turbo range.

Two types of tines to be ready for shallow stubble cultivation and deeper soil preparation.

The S-tine called Reflex tine. The high vibration capacity makes the tine able to mix and crumble intensively even at a shallow depth. The cinematic of the tine results in a constant cutting depth even when the tine releases backward.

The auto-reset C-tine. With its 270kg point pressure, it keeps a constant depth even when working at 20cm deep. The maximum pressure is in resting position. When the tine releases, the point pressure decreases and then the frame is fully protected.

A complete range of shares

The Reflex tine can have 3 different shares:

  • Narrow share of 55x15mm for deep cultivation, lower disturbance, and low fuel consumption.

  • Double heart share of 125mm (reversible) for intensive mixing.

  • Wing share for a full cut at shallow depth

The C-tine can have different shares & deflector options:

  • A reversible point that can be combined with a wing share together with protection or deflectors

  • The new Knock-on system with 80mm, 150mm and 250mm share

Two types of levelling equipment

In order to meet any soil conditions, humidity, and trash, Kverneland proposes two different levelling systems:

  • Levelling tines when the amount and the length of trashes is rather limited

  • Levelling discs when the quantity of residues is important, as well as the length. The bearings are maintenance free.

User comfort as priority! All adjustments by hydraulic

“Kverneland always strives to make the operation easy and safe for the user, saving their precious time,” explains Guillaume Hulin, plant manager of Kverneland Les Landes Génusson, “That’s why all the adjustments can be done without any tools. The depth is adjusted by hydraulic cylinders and spacers; and the levelling equipment by spindle. If the working depth is changed, there is almost no need to change the position of the levelling equipment thanks to the well-studied cinematic which acts like a parallelogram.”

When working on small fields, driving on narrow roads and for saving time, the Turbo can be equipped with hydraulic folding of the lateral levelling

In addition, there is no maintenance to be done except changing the wearing parts.
