THE ROMAN FORSTE DAJ332

Sorbara, 18 February 2013_ EAS, Socage dealer in Rome, in January has delivered a DAJ332 Forste to a company called Baiocco. Last spring Baiocco s.r.l. has bought a DA320 and a DA324, and during the SAIE exhibition last October, they decided to add to their fleet a few more Socage units.  Once again simplicity and high performances of the Socage range have been the deciding factors for purchasing a DAJ332 and an additional DA324. The negotiation and the deal were agreed in Bologna and, as a gesture of gratitude to Baiocco, the customer logo was added on the booms of the two platforms on the stand.

 

Baiocco s.r.l. is a construction company as well as a rental one. Established in 2003 as a small refurbishing and renovation outfit, the Company grew and in 2008 it started the current brand specialized in bespoke building projects. 

The two Socage platforms will increase the portfolio of the Company and help it to expand its presence in the market. The double articulation models are particularly suitable for building works because of their versatility; this type of boom allows the operator to overcome obstacles with a 90° angle of the aerial part.

 

The novelty purchased by Baiocco is the Forste DAJ332, a double articulated truck mounted aerial platform with jib installed on a 7.5 ton truck. This model differs from others in the lightweight segment for the articulated hydraulic jib, allowing the DAJ332 to carry out special boom articulations that the normal double articulated aerial platforms could not do. In fact it is able to perform another vertical movement from -90° to +15°. This platform is able to reach 32 m of maximum working height with a SWL of 280 kg and a maximum outreach of 19 m. The Forste DAJ332 excels in compactness as it measures just 7990 mm in length and 3150 mm in height; these features are ideal for city centers with high volume of traffic where bigger units will not be able to deploy the outriggers or won’t be allowed to access the area.

 

DA324 is the higher double articulated aerial platform mounted on 3.5-tons trucks. Able of a maximum working height of 24 m and a maximum outreach of 11 m, the DA324 has got a safe working load (SWL) of 225 kg (2 operators + tools).
