The Schäffer 2436 SLT: High performance in tight spaces

The wheel loader with 26 kW / 36 HP and a bucket capacity of 0.5 m3 is perfect in situations where high performance in tight space is needed. What is special about the 2436 SLT is its extremely low height of just 1.95 m. This enables the compact machine to pass low gateways. Work in underground car parks is also no problem. The low sitting position makes it easier to get on and off. The low centre of mass represents another advantage of the low construction. This enables increased tipping loads and improved stability.

Despite its low working weight of barely 2,450 kg, the 2436 SLT is able to safely transport full stone pallets with a weight of 1.6 t – even on rough terrain. The required stability is achieved by the articulating / swivelling joint that ensures sufficient ground contact. The maintenance-free joint has an extended manufacturer's warranty of 3,000 hours or 3 years.

An additional advantage of the low working weight is the low ground pressure. Combined with the right tread pattern, it guarantees minimal damage to the ground. The low unladen weight furthermore makes it easy to transport the machine from one building site to the next with a car trailer.

High levels of lifting force are achieved with the strong lifting cylinder and ideally adapted working hydraulics. The material thickness of swing arm and brackets are also adapted to the high requirements. The machine also stands out with its lifting height of 2.50 m. This further enables a wide range of applications.
