Fast and powerful vibration technology for offshore projects
bauma opens its doors for the 30th time at Munich Exhibition Center in April.
The exhibitors will once again include ThyssenKrupp Tiefbautechnik. This year the company is presenting new developments in the field of vibration driving for offshore wind turbine foundations. The innovations improve equipment performance and enable foundations for tripods and jacket structures to be installed more quickly and thus more cost-efficiently. This is made possible by a vibrator with double the centrifugal force of the biggest previously available models.
ThyssenKrupp Tiefbautechnik will also be exhibiting a vibrator with sound damping to significantly reduce noise levels. It is ideal for use at night or on inner-city sites.
Also on show will be the new Eco-Power system (patent pending) which optimizes vibrator performance while significantly reducing fuel consumption.
A new excavator-mounted vibrator with side grip will be unveiled for the first time at bauma. This unit makes it easier to work at low heights and in safety-relevant areas such as rail lines. It is compact, robust, virtually maintenance-free and easy to use. ThyssenKrupp Tiefbautechnik’s range of innovative excavator-mounted vibrators are rounded out by units with gear oil cooling for extreme conditions, special clamping devices for Z- and double-U-type sections, and a system with shiftable double grippers for driving pipes of different diameter.
Vibrodrilling leads developments in the area of drilling. A compact, high-frequency vibration unit improves drilling progress and permits drilling depths previously unattainable using conventional rotary percussive drills.
In the outside exhibition area, ThyssenKrupp Tiefbautechnik will also be displaying a new rock hammer drill in the 100 kilogram weight class. Thanks to the use of aluminum, it is lighter yet just as powerful as its steel counterpart. The array of products on display by ThyssenKrupp Tiefbautechnik will be rounded out by new motors for hammer drills and double-head drilling systems offering higher starting torques and also allowing higher torques at high speeds.
