Toyota Material Handling Europe introduces full new range of high tonnage CB trucks

Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) completes the Toyota Tonero family of IC counterbalanced forklift trucks with the launch of its brand new Tonero 3.5 to 8.0 tonnes range at CeMAT.

TMHE releases a new series of diesel and LPG trucks for intense applications capable to handle loads from 3.5 up to 8.0 tonnes. With these latest models, the Toyota Tonero family is now complete and perfectly fit for lighter up to the most demanding material handling needs. Robust and highly reliable, the Toyota Tonero benefits from strong features that run through the entire family. The trucks feature industrial Toyota engines, unmatched stability and outstanding all-round visibility.

The new range comes with two brand new industrial engines that have been developed in-house to make the Tonero trucks deliver high-quality performance, reliability and efficiency. The Toyota 1KD (55 kW) engine with common rail fuel injection offers high acceleration, drive and lifting speeds. Furthermore, it achieves an emission level significantly below the stage IIIB regulation requirements without the need of a diesel particulate filter. The compact LPG/gasoline Toyota 1FS (63 kW) engine comes with electronic fuel injection and excels at optimum truck performance and fuel efficiency.

The new 3.5 – 8.0 tonnes range also features a variable displacement pump and load sensing power steering for improved energy efficiency and consumption management.

The truck’s unmatched stability is achieved by the reputed System of Active Stability (SAS) and the low centre of gravity design. Put together, they protect both operator and load when driving, turning and lifting and contribute to growing profitability.

The outstanding all-round visibility gives the operator a 360° wide open view when handling loads at ground level or at height, through the mast or the overhead guard. This minimises the risk of accidents, helping to maintain exemplary high safety standards.
