New product: Advanced user ID solution creates new business opportunities

The Trackunit 401 SmartID, brings together access control features and a GSM/GPS unit in one single box. Compared to existing products on the market today, the new all-in-one unit is a simple, fast-to-install solution.

Prevent unauthorised use with access control

Trackunit’s fleet management solution with integrated user identification is designed to prevent unauthorised use of machines and equipment on work sites. This helps to increase site and worker safety and prevents theft.

NEW: Two user identification options in one box

Trackunit 401 SmartID is the first system on the market to combine two user identification solutions in a single box. The innovative solution allows the operator to gain access to the machine by entering a unique PIN code or with a personal identification card.

Increased flexibility: PIN code gives immediate access

The two identification options increase flexibility and optimise work processes both locally at the work site and by simplifying administrative procedures. “With Trackunit 401 SmartID, a new user can receive a PIN code in a text message that gives him immediate access to a certain machine”, explains Jesper Rom Knudsen, Head of Direct Sales at Trackunit.

If a contractor suddenly needs a certain machine, the rental company can remotely add a new user and text a PIN code that gives immediate access to the machine in question.”
