Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced today the launch of a new fleet management option to extend its comprehensive portfolio of fleet and field service solutions.

Trimble® Fleet Express is the latest addition to Trimble's Field Service Management (FSM) solutions, offering greater flexibility for organizations operating fleets. This new service package combines the ease and simplicity of a self-install, plug-and-play OBDII device with the best features and functionality of Trimble Fleet Management, including vehicle tracking, vehicle maintenance, on-demand reports and scheduling and alert notification. Trimble Fleet Express is one of three fleet management packages available, providing businesses with a choice of solutions to meet their needs.

Trimble Fleet Express provides real-time location information to companies that manage fleets of all sizes with all types of light-duty vehicles, and provides a more flexible option for those who use leased or employee-owned vehicles where wired-in devices are not an option.
New Mapping Capabilities with ALK Maps
In addition to launching Fleet Express, Trimble has replaced its Bing mapping functionality in its Work Management and Fleet Management solutions with ALK® Maps, a dynamic mapping and route visualization platform from ALK (www.alk.com), a Trimble Company. This new functionality will benefit customers with best-in-class mapping, forward geo-coding, street-level routing and a range of enhanced features.
