Ultra mobile: the Manitou ULM with trailer

At bauma trade fair in Munich, Manitou Group presented a special solution consisting of a compact telehandler and a matching trailer.

The aluminum trailer was specially designed for transporting the ultra-light Manitou ULM telehandler. With the trailer, which has a gross vehicle weight rating of 3.5 tons, the ULM can be easily transported to the job site by car. This makes the machine particularly interesting for local authorities, landscaping companies, fire departments and farmers. The dimensions, lashing points, mudguards and drawbar load of the trailer are specially designed for transporting the machine. Martin Hüttinger, Area Sales Manager South at Manitou, is enthusiastic about the solution, "... because the ULM is loaded in no time thanks to the low loading height and anti-slip ramps. You are absolutely mobile and can take the machine off-road without any problems."

The Ultra Light Manitou (ULM) is Manitou's most compact telehandler, designed specifically for working in confined and hard-to-reach areas. It is available in two versions - the ULM 412 and ULM 415 - depending on the required load capacity. The trailer is also suitable for transporting small work platforms and other machines, depending on their dimensions and weight. Currently the trailer is only available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
