UniCarriers presented new variant with enclosed cabin in TX model range

UniCarriers has added new equipment to its TX counterbalance truck series: At LogiMAT 2018, the company presented the new TX3 and TX4 models with heated driver's cabin for the first time at Booth D71 in Hall 9. These electrical vehicles are thus now optimally equipped for outdoor use. Users also benefit from the ergonomic design, simple handling and low energy consumption of the truck.

It's raining and the temperature has fallen to 3° Celsius, but a truck needs unloading quickly and comfortably. Users with the new models from the TX electric forklift series are optimally equipped for such tasks thanks to the enclosed, heated cab. Fully insulated against noise and cold, the cab ensures maximum drive comfort. Ideal for outdoor use, the TX chassis design provides the driver with optimum all-round vision in line with the UniCarriers ProVision concept – comparable to open models without a cab. The front and rear windows also feature a defrost and demist system as well as a wiper set for clear vision. In the cab itself, details such as a coat hanger, a LED reading lamp and a document holder create optimum conditions for a neat, clearly organised workplace. In addition to the standard version, the cab is also available in a comfort variant for more demanding requirements and includes features such as even better heat insulation.

Efficient overall solution

The TX's design not only guarantees optimum ergonomics, but also a high handling capacity. The TX3 model with three wheels reaches speeds of up to 16 km/h while the TX4 variant with four wheels can even achieve 17 km/h. With load capacities between 1.25 and 2 tons and a lift height up to 7 metres, the TX series is suitable for a wide range of tasks in logistics and industry. This model range also excels thanks to its low energy consumption: the TX3 with a loading capacity of 1.6 tons, requires just 4.2 kWh, for example, making it one of the most economical electric counterbalance trucks on the market.
