Battery power on the rise: light equipment for construction professionals

Wacker Neuson presents at Bauma an new range of reversible battery-powered vibratory plates APU: with centrifugal forces of 28 and 33 kilonewtons and. The battery-powered vibratory plates APU28 and APU33 are available in the working widths of 40, 50 and 60 centimeters, easy to operate and are characterized by their great maneuverability. All plates are equipped with the DireX direct drive, developed by Wacker Neuson. It ensures the transfer of power without loss of transmission or friction and therefore longer running times and less maintenance.

The battery-powered plates are driven by the robust Battery One battery, which is used in more than 20 battery-powered light equipment from Wacker Neuson. This battery can also be used in other construction equipment from different manufacturers and brands – a big step towards reducing complexity on the construction site.

But Wacker Neuson also has innovations to show for Bauma regarding conventionally powered reversible center plates: with a compaction performance between 52 and 62 kilonewtons, three different operating widths and petrol or diesel engines, the new generation of DPU52, DPU62, BPU52 and BPU62 is celebrating its debut.
