Väderstad Tempo L is growing

A new model is added to the world-record high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo L series. The new model, Tempo L 18, will be available with a row spacing down to 500mm, thus making it well-suited for planting crops such as oilseed rape and sugar beet with excellent precision.

The new Tempo L 18, which is added to the previous two Tempo L models, Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 16, has 18 row units and is available with 500 or 508mm row spacing.

Tempo L 18 delivers exceptional planting precision and very high capacity when planting crops requiring a narrower row spacing, such as oilseed rape and sugar beet, says Mattias Hovnert, Sales & Marketing Director at Väderstad.

One machine – multiple crops

To be able to plant a wide range of crops on the farm, Tempo L 18 can be rebuilt from 18 to 12 row units. In the 12-row configuration, the row spacing can be set between 700-800mm, thus also allowing for crops such as maize, and sunflower. The result is increased efficiency and minimised machine costs per hectare, says Mattias Hovnert.

The all-new Tempo L 18 is presented for the first time on Agritechnica and will be in production in June 2018.
