Vermeer BPX9000 bale processor earns major Chinese agriculture award

A premier leader in forage modernization around the world, Vermeer Corporation was recently awarded the 2015 Ag Machinery Applications Contributor award at the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Forum for their successful application of the BPX9000 bale processor in China’s dairy and beef cattle industries.

“The simplicity, durability and versatility of the machine have been warmly embraced by local farmers and farm managers everywhere,” said Shawn Wang, Associate Product Manager for Vermeer. “Receiving such an important national award that recognizes companies and products contributing to China’s agriculture is a true honor.”

The Vermeer BPX9000 bale processor combines simplicity and toughness with the capability of processing both large square and round bales, providing an effective solution for meeting various needs in feeding TMR mixers and bunkers or providing animal bedding.

The award, presented jointly by the Machinery Popularization Committee of China Agricultural Industry Association and Farm Machinery magazine, was also given to Vermeer in 2013 for the 404 PRO silage baler for its revolutionary contribution to the nation’s biomass and forage harvesting industries.
