ProfiDrill A300 - the new machanical mounted seed drill

In addition to outstanding precision in sowing, the new ProfiDrill A300 mechanical mounted seed drill with 3 m working width also benefits from other indispensable advantages. Well-designed technical details promise to provide the highest stability and quality of work. Sowing is also made easier by the convenient and safe operation of the equipment.

Closed step cell wheels and the option of choosing between infinitely variable and 80-step Norton gearboxes ensure the greatest possible precision for longitudinal and transverse seed distribution. The tail wheel within the working width creates safe and even drive in the reconsolidated soil. The special tank geometry of the hopper (650 L and additional extensions with 260/520 litres available on request) with 4 separating plates as standard produces reliable and even tracking of seed even on slopes. 24 offset double disc coulters (row spacing: 12.5 cm) ensure a precise sowing depth and the tool-free adjustable depth guidance and pressure rollers ensure optimum soil consolidation. The central coulter pressure adjustment (40 kg) and the Müller electronics prove to be convenient and safe. The multifunctional fold-up seed covering harrow ensures unique work and convenient transportation on the road.

The compact combination with the new Arterra rotary harrow means less lifting force is required. It is mounted on the roller frame, meaning it is not necessary to change the setting of the seed drill if the working depth of the rotary harrow is changed. In addition, a flexible roller assembly up to a diameter of 600 mm is possible.

TerraMaxx - the universal fine cultivator

The new TerraMaxx fine cultivator works effectively on medium and large-scale operations as a purely mounted device with a working width of 6.5 or 8 m. The high frame design means it is versatile and usable all year round, works without blockages and provides high area coverage with easy pulling and fuel-efficiency.

The 60 cm high solid frame is made up of 3 parts. The hydraulic cylinders fold and automatically lock the sides.  The legal transport width/height is observed, which together with the optional pneumatic brake system and the lighting set, ensures safety on the road.

The central positioning of the chassis enables a tight turning circle at the headland. At the same time the large-volume wheels take on a load-bearing function when working without rollers and manage this with low ground pressure. The optional long drawbar is suitable for tractors with an overall width of up to 4 m without sacrificing manoeuvrability. Thanks to their high load carrying capacity, the wide, spindle-adjustable contact wheels at the front can guide the equipment entirely if necessary. At the same time, together with the drawbar and the follower roller, they ensure precise depth guidance over the entire working width.

The optional crossboard (hydraulically adjustable and available with the option of tine stabilisers) ensures optimal crumbling and levelling particularly on ploughed land or in heavy soil. The optimised distribution of the 70 x 12 mm S tines without narrow points with turning narrow shares (optional duckfoot shares 200 mm or quick-change system) and a spacing of 15.5 cm ensure optimum work results with a low traction requirement. Levelling and reconsolidation are achieved perfectly with the solo or tandem cage rollers whose depth is mechanically adjustable with bolts and 3 rows of holes, or the established Terrapak tapered ring roller with Ø 600 mm. A roller following harrow is available optionally.

New tandem cage rollers

The new cage rollers are designed with a segment width from 2 m with a V-shaped rod layout. On the one hand this prevents side pull, and on the other hand averts soil erosion by water and wind by creating furrows that do not run in a straight line with the line of the slope. The front roller with a diameter of 520 mm with 10 rods benefits from self-cleaning and can be additionally equipped with the Terraclean scraper system. The cage roller with Ø 400 mm or a shallow web roller with Ø 500 mm (also available with the Terraclean scraper system) are suitable as rear rollers.

Terramat Hydro - high efficiency with new, foldable rotary harrows

The new foldable rotary harrows are characterised by a compact design with simultaneous high area coverage with working widths of 4 to 8 m. With three new series, Vogel & Noot is focussing on reliability, optimal soil adjustment and the greatest convenience. Whether for use with light or heavy soils, for large companies or contractors with intensive continuous use, the right device for every application can be found.

The robust gearbox pan offers a high degree of reliability – depending on the model it has large dimensioned deep groove ball bearings or taper roller bearings of the rotors, the proven Walterscheid drive shafts and the double shaft seals and an additional steel labyrinth. Optimal soil adjustment is ensured by the moving lower connecting rod connections, the infinitely variable depth adjustment and the hydraulic floating working position. The offset tine arrangement ensures smooth running and reduced fuel consumption. Infinitely variable height adjustment of the rear levelling bar and sprung side plates that can be moved upwards via a slot, provide the greatest convenience.

Equipped with a stable folding frame that locks automatically and is hydraulically secured, meaning a transport width of just 2.5 m is achieved.

Arterra rotary harrows are even more user friendly

With high-quality brand gearboxes, the specially constructed pan with maintenance-free taper roller bearings and extremely durable wear parts, the Arterra MS rotary harrow and the ArterraGrip rotary cultivator are well-equipped for all applications. They are now even easier to use and less lifting force is required.

The revised headstock with an improved centre of gravity reduces the lifting force requirement. New mounting pockets (incl. bolts) let you choose freely between mounting categories II and III by interchanging the installation. The simple height-adjustable levelling bar requires no adjustment of the settings and ensures the best crumbling structure and levelling. The stable side plates are duplicated (front and rear), shatter-proof and are weight optimised.

In combination with the new ProfiDrill A mechanical mounted seed drill, the result is a compact unit with an optimised centre of gravity with less lifting force required. This is possible thanks to the newly designed roller frame and scraper. The mounting of the seed drill on the roller frame and the parallelogram guide of the roller eliminates the need to adjust the settings of the seed drill if the working depth of the rotary harrow is changed. At the same time the seed drill can be simply removed for solo work.

V&N MasterCut MU2 - new universal mulcher up to 2,8 m

The light-weight yet robust MasterCut MU2 universal mulcher – with working widths of 1.4 to 2.8 m – is available as a pure rear unit or with a convertible single or double headstock for combined front/rear use. It wins every user over with its considerable advantages.

The high rotor speed, two counter blades that come as standard and the offset layout of the hammers or blades ensure smooth running and optimal mulching quality. Height adjustable skid plates enable excellent soil adjustment. The side displacement of the headstock of up to 500 mm (hydraulically if required), the integrated freewheel of the gearbox as well as simple switching of the engine speed between 540 and 1000 rpm by changing the belt discs are further practical features of the easy-pulling mulcher.

The special design of the supporting roller with scraper is unique. In addition to the 3-stage depth adjustment, the supporting roller can also be adjusted in 2 positions in the direction of travel, meaning the mulcher adjusts optimally to the different conditions and a variable ejection of the chopped material in front of or behind the roller is possible. Great value is placed on the highest quality even with the roller bearings. The greasable bearings are well protected in a steel tube sheath and with the roller support form an enclosed unit. The double sealing prevents penetration of moisture and dust and thus guarantees the longest possible serviceable life.

TerraDIg KSS auboilers - new series with straight tines

In addition to the proven TerraDig KSD subsoiler, the new TerraDig KSS series with straight tines and working widths of 3 m and 4 m is now available. The straight tines are offset in the direction of travel and increase the passage through crop residues.  Thanks to its horizontally positioned tools the TerraDig KSS works extremely smoothly and creates good subsoiling without destroying the soil structure.

It is designed specifically for use in combination with other cultivation tools. Thanks to its single beam design the overall length remains extremely short and the lifting force required low, even in combination with the TerraDiscpro compact disc harrow or the rotary harrow/cultivator with or without seed drill. With the standard hydraulic rear 3-point mounting, combination equipment can be conveniently installed and removed and the working depths easily adjusted.
