“Highly energy efficient diesel drivelines are the most competitive solution for a majority of our customers today. However, by sharing our progress within electromobility we want to demonstrate that we are preparing for the future and have the technology ready when it becomes a competitive option to our customers”, says Roger Alm, President of Volvo Trucks.

Volvo Trucks will join sister companies Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Penta at Bauma April 8-14, 2019, displaying a broad and varied offer from the Volvo Group.  The construction line-up from Volvo Trucks offers unique features for the building and construction industry. The Volvo FMX is one of the most capable and powerful construction trucks on the market, while the Volvo FH combines excellent cab comfort with features for rough operating conditions. Needless to say, the FH16 with its 750 horsepower is the powerpack for heavy loads.  The revolutionary steering technology Volvo Dynamic Steering has been further developed with four new innovative features to improve lane keeping, stability, external remote steering and personal settings. Other features to be presented and demonstrated at Bauma are Air suspension for construction, Tandem Axle Lift, Automatic Traction Control and the automated transmission I-Shift with crawler gears.

“Stay tuned for our press conference on April 9, 10.00 am, at the Volvo stand at Bauma 2019”, says Roger Alm.

The Volvo Group stand is in hall C6 and in the outdoor area.
