International construction machinery company Wacker Neuson is expanding its UK operations in Stafford. Richard Harrison, UK Managing Director and CFO Günther C. Binder have signed a deal with Beacon Business Park for a brand new UK Sales Headquarters, which opens in summer 2016.
Wacker Neuson is internationally renowned as a leading manufacturer of high quality construction vehicles and construction equipment. Their products are used in the construction, landscaping, gardening, architecture and agricultural industries, as well as by local authorities and companies in industries such as the recycling and energy.
Wacker Neuson, which has its group headquarters in Munich, has been a tenant on the original business park for 18 months and already employs 20 people in Stafford with an increasing tendency.
Recognising the benefits of Stafford as a base for its UK operations, Wacker Neuson has purchased plots 6, 7 and 8 which extend to 3.8 acres with a contract to design and build a new headquarters facility. The brand new 45,000 sq ft UK headquarters will house offices, warehousing, a parts store and workshop.
