Webasto: 360° Climate and Energy Competence at Agritechnica

At this year's Agritechnica in Hanover from November 10 to 16, Webasto presents its innovative product portfolio for the agricultural engineering industry. Under the trade fair motto "Advanced Solutions Partner", the systems supplier shows its comprehensive solutions for the electrification of the agricultural machinery market based on one vehicle model as well as further developments of its thermo systems at booth C49 in hall 17.

Highly efficient solutions for electrically driven agricultural vehicles

Webasto is providing a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the electrified agricultural engineering. One of the core elements of it is the CV Standard Battery System with an advantageous modular design, which offers a cost-effective solution in Webasto quality even for small quantities. This also allows simple conversion from combustion engines to electromobility. The corresponding Vehicle Interface Box (VIB) functions as an interface between battery system and vehicle for user-defined system configurations and programming. In addition, the related Battery Thermal Management System (eBTM) acts as a central temperature control module, optimizing the battery performance and lifetime. The combination of the modular and scalable battery system, the VIB and the eBTM ensures individual solutions for each customer requirement. For electric and hybrid vehicles, Webasto also shows its proven High Voltage Heaters (HVH). With a constant efficiency of 95 percent, it creates pleasant temperatures in the cabin and pre-heats the battery. The intelligent Charging Solution Webasto Live with integrated network functions and a range of additional digital features completes the portfolio for electromobility. It is equipped with a type 2 connector and features a charging power of 11 or 22 kW. Thanks to the integrated 4G modem, LAN and WLAN interfaces, several wallboxes can be connected and dynamic load management can be applied.

Systems partner for heating and cooling solutions

Webasto meets the demanding challenges of agricultural vehicles, such as operating in different climate zones and under extreme working conditions, with customized thermo systems. One of the product highlights at Agritechnica 2019 is the HVAC SP80, which provides ideal air conditioning for agricultural machinery. Thanks to its very slim design, it offers climate comfort without restricting headroom or visibility and can be easily integrated into the manufacturer's existing control and electronic infrastructure. It has a cooling and heating capacity of about 7 kW. Additionaly, Webasto provides a high-performance heating system that is compact, lightweight and features an automatic altitude compensation up to 3,500m above sea level, the Thermo Top Pro 120/150.
