AC 500-2 lifts ventilation system in Paris

In order to lift a blower weighing approximately two tonnes onto the roof of the Montparnasse Station in Paris for its customer Axima, crane service provider Ponticelli Frères had to face a whole series of challenges: Little space, the need to navigate a tricky traffic situation in the metropolis, and an incredibly small window of time to complete the lift. Liebherr concrete mixing plant operates at an altitude of 2,340 metres in Switzerland

A Liebherr Compactmix 1.0 is supplying the construction site for the “V-cableway” (or “V-Bahn”) project in the Swiss mountains with concrete. The project was a challenge both in terms of logistics and on-site operation. The Grindelwald-Männlichen Gondola Cableway company and Jungfraubahn railway company are planning to build a V-cableway that will open up both the Eiger Glacier and the Männlichen (Bernese Alps). From a joint terminal in Grindelwald-Grund, a tri-cable aerial cableway will lead to the Eiger Glacier and a ten-seater aerial gondola cableway to Männlichen. In addition, the new Rothenegg station will give the V-cableway a direct connection to public transport. In order to implement the project, the project managers at ARGE V-Bahn Oberland were looking for a mixing plant with special properties that could be transported by cable car. Read more >>

SK140SRD is the manufacturer’s smallest demolition and recycling machine
Following the introduction of the SK210D in 2016 and the recent unveiling of the SK350DLC-10, Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. Good Design® Award for the New Holland Agriculture Methane Powered Concept Tractor

New Holland Agriculture has received the prestigious Good Design® Award for its Methane Powered Concept Tractor from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
New Holland Agriculture, a global agricultural brand of CNH Industrial N.V., received the award from an international panel of judges, consisting of design professionals, leading industry specialists, design journalists and critics. The Methane Powered Concept Tractor, first unveiled in the summer of 2017, was recognized for its reimagined design features and its pioneering alternative fuel technology. Read more >>

John Deere updates 5R Series tractors for 2019

John Deere has announced several updates to its 5R Series tractors from 90 to 125hp, designed to increase their versatility and suitability for small and medium-sized livestock and arable farms. To improve their connectivity for precision farming operations, from spring 2019 the tractors will be available AutoTrac and ISObus-ready. JDLink telematics will also be available ex-factory, together with remote display access (RDA) five-year subscription.
