John Deere has launched the new Gator GS utility vehicles designed for greenkeepers to perform light duties efficiently, featuring both petrol and electric models that offer quiet operation with a top speed of 17.5 mph. The Gator GS, which combines compact design with ample cargo and towing capacity, will be showcased at BTME in Harrogate. Key features include a powerful, yet quiet, 14hp petrol engine with sound-deadening materials, and a 48V electric option equipped with an AC drive motor and eight batteries. The vehicle offers a 544.3 kg towing capacity, a continuously variable transmission, high-back bucket seats, USB ports, and plenty of storage.
