Robomag: Bomag future study - fully autonomous tandem roller


Robomag is the name of the fully autonomous tandem roller developed by Bomag as a technological study. Robomag builds on the knowledge gained by Bomag in cooperation with the Technical University of Kaiserslautern when converting road rollers to fully autonomous systems. Technologies such as GPS, Lidar and state-of-the-art position sensors are used. With Robomag, Bomag is making its vision of fully autonomous construction machinery a reality. Read more >>

Raimondi unveils the LR273 luffing jib crane at Bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany

The exhibition saw the unveiling of the new LR273 luffing crane, the first showing of the hydraulic luffing LRH174, and an exclusive preview of the company’s largest tower crane to date, the MRT573. Raimondi Cranes SpA, heritage manufacturer of precision heavy lifting machinery for more than 150 years, showcased three cranes onsite at Bauma 2019. Two of the cranes, erected at the Raimondi exhibit situated at FS 1102/2 in the event’s outdoor area at the Messe München Trade Fair Center, were shown alongside the MRT573’s slewing unit, cabin mast and counterjib. “We decided the best presentation of the MRT573 was at ground level simply to bring people up close and personal with our newest product,” explained Eng. New product launches as Snorkel celebrates 60 years of innovation at bauma 2019

Snorkel, a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, begins a week-long celebration of their 60-year anniversary as Bauma 2019 opens in Munich, Germany. The company, which is celebrating ‘60 years of innovation’, is unveiling a number of new product launches at the tri-annual construction equipment show which attracts in excess of 500,000 visitors.
