Argentinian company GRÚAS BOVIER SRL completed a very special crane job in the province of Entre Rios – to the north of Buenos Aires, two meteorites had to be lifted out of a museum and prepared for transport. After a dedicated refurbishment by a team of experts from Brazil and the U.S., the crane is ready to build Angra 3—the third and final reactor at the Angra Nuclear Power Plant in Rio de Janeiro. German première of the Xtended F Series large milling machine

The Wirtgen cold milling machine W 220 XFi with a John Deere engine deployed for the rehabilitation of the K 20 county road between Troisdorf and Lohmar showed that high productivity and sustainability can go hand-in-hand. Innovative technologies such as the 18-litre John Deere engine with a 2-speed powershift transmission and digital assistance systems such as Mill Assist and WPT Milling made it possible to realise the project efficiently within an extremely short time. The new display of CO₂ emissions per cubic metre of milled material provided valuable information about the ecological footprint of the current construction site and also enables conclusions to be drawn and translated into courses of action for future construction projects.
