RAUCH has introduced HillControl, a system designed to enhance the precision of fertiliser distribution on slopes and uneven terrain using AXIS twin-disc spreaders. HillControl employs algorithms and tilt sensors to automatically adjust the spreading discs for optimal lateral distribution, even when the machine's angle changes. This integration with SpeedServo actuators ensures efficient operation without requiring additional effort from users. HillControl improves fertiliser use efficiency by up to 3%, thus optimizing plant nutrition and preventing overfertilisation. This marks a significant advancement in fertiliser distribution technology, taking field topology and elevation into account for the first time to ensure consistent nutrient application on complex terrains like hills and hollows.
