Kärcher presents new stationary hot water high-pressure unit

After over 40 years the successful stationary hot water high-pressure unit from Kärcher gets a successor. The new generation of machines delivers a higher cleaning performance than its predecessor with a flow rate up to 1300 l/h and up to 210 bar pressure. A central rotary switch and new electronics simplify operation and servicing. Proven, high-quality components also ensure a long life. The new stationary hot water high-pressure unit is thus perfect for users in industry, transport or agriculture, who regularly have to remove stubborn dirt with hot water at high pressure.

Stationary hot water high-pressure units are in demand wherever areas need to be cleaned flexibly at different removal sites and at the touch of a button. The machine is located in the machine room and is connected to the removal sites via high-pressure lines. High-pressure hose and trigger guns are connected there in order to reduce set-up times to almost zero. As tough operating conditions and high requirements go hand in hand in industry, transport or agriculture, Kärcher designed its new stationary hot water high-pressure unit for availability and durability. It features a crankshaft pump and 4-pole, water-cooled electric motor, as well as the large water filter, which protects heating coils and pump, and the decalcifying tank in which a decalcifying agent can be added when using hard water. Thanks to a heating output of up to 108 kW, the machines, which can be operated with diesel or gas, are ideal for removing stubborn, oily and greasy dirt.

The modern device concept ensures simple operation. The settings can be made using a rotary switch without a long familiarisation period, functions such as cold or hot water and the addition of detergents can be activated when required at the removal site via a remote control. The detergent dosing ensures sustainable, efficient use of detergents. Error messages and information on the state of the machine are shown on the display, thus making servicing easier. In addition, the stationary units are based on the common modular platform for all Kärcher high-pressure cleaners so that spare parts are available quickly. Anyone who already uses the predecessor version of the new machine can continue to use the floor structure, flue and high-pressure line and simply replace the machine.

Kärcher is currently the top-selling high-pressure cleaner brand

Kärcher received a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM title as the current top-selling brand for high-pressure cleaners, thus confirming its global market leadership. The success is based on a long tradition of innovation and quality. Back in 1950 Alfred Kärcher invented Europe's first hot water high-pressure cleaner, the first mobile high-pressure cleaner for private users followed in 1984. The company has now been selling high-pressure cleaners for 75 years. Today "kärchern" is synonymous with high-pressure cleaning and is also listed in the German dictionary Duden.

Kärcher turns 90

Kärcher celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2025. Founded in 1935 by Alfred Kärcher as a workshop for heating technology in Stuttgart, the family-owned company has developed into a world-renowned brand for cleaning technology. The products were characterised by technical innovation from an early stage – a property that still shapes the company's DNA today.

The company entered the cleaning market in 1950 with the first European hot water high-pressure cleaner KW 350. Following Alfred Kärcher's death in 1959, his wife Irene took over the management of the company and drove its internationalisation. In 1974 she focussed the strategic alignment of the company on high-pressure cleaning and established the widely known Kärcher yellow. Under her management Kärcher became a global leader. Another milestone followed in 1984: the HD 555, the world's first mobile high-pressure cleaner for private households.

In addition to innovation and a broad portfolio with over 3,000 cleaning and care products, sustainability also plays a key role. Kärcher promotes emission reduction, resource preservation, waste avoidance and a circular economy with numerous measures and has received several awards.
