The aim was to improve the traction of crawler tracks on slopes in the case of poor ground conditions, like ice, snow or waterlogged sub surfaces. So we decided to establish the Hettec Components GmbH in 2010, to focus that aim.
After years of development and trials in the field, we managed to manufacture a product that meets precisely these requirements.
“Claws” were developed along with machine operators in practical situations for practical use.
Our system offers the following benefits:
• Universal applicability with most triple grouser shoes
• Improved traction
• Conservation of the chain plate, since no cutting, welding or drilling is necessary
• Quick assembly and disassembly with most triple grouser shoes (approx. 30 minutes)
• No electricity or other special tools are necessary for assembly and disassembly
• Less downtime because of the quick assembly
• Significantly improved security for operating personnel
