The new Benninghoven plant Batchmix 1250 was specifically developed to provide mobility and maximum flexibility in order to guarantee perfectly organised construction site projects. The plant can be installed in just 2 days, making relocation easy. Its close proximity to the project construction sites along with the resultant short travel distances make it possible to drastically reduce transport costs. This extremely short installation time means that the plant can move with the construction site at short notice during a project, in order to be deployed closer to where it is needed. The costs saved in this way can be calculated really quickly, hence this type of plant can be deployed specifically for project orders. The plant was designed and developed in close collaboration with specialists with practical experience, to respond to their market needs.

The plant consists of the following units:

Chassis 1 – Cold feed system:

Implemented as a group with 4 Feed hoppers and a loading width of 3,300 mm, can be easily loaded using the wheel loader. The unit also features a loading ramp, which is folded away for transport. The cold feed system can also be expanded to include a 5th feed hopper or a power generator, which supplies the whole plant with electricity so that it operates completely independently.

Chassis 2 – Dryer drum and burner:

The dryer drum and burner are located on the chassis with Benninghoven's customary high quality of design. Perfect coordination between dryer drum and burner ensures maximum productivity and efficiency. The dryer drum is insulated against heat radiation and provided with an aluminium sheathing. Optionally, a fuel oil tank can also be integrated into the chassis to prevent additional transportation and offer even more flexibility.

Chassis 3 – Filter and filler system:

The usefully matched filter and filler unit enables our customers to transport these components in just one unit, rather than the conventional three. By exploiting the max. transport volume, the Benninghoven designers succeeded in developing the perfect combination for the filter and filler system. Here too, all guidelines with regard to recipe compliance, dosing accuracy and dust leakage have been perfectly adhered to. The filter system complies with the most stringent European standards of <20 mg/N³/h dust.

Chassis 4 – Mobile mixing tower:

The entire mixing tower is set up in its working position using just one 30 t crane. The screen, which is also situated on the chassis during transport, is placed on the hot bin section in one stroke. The hot elevator is flange-mounted to the side of the chassis and pivoted. When lifting the mixing tower, the hot elevator automatically arrives at the working position. The 4-deck screen is easily accessible and operates virtually maintenance-free with vibration motor technology. The 16 t hot mineral storage below provides sufficient capacity and enables constant production. All mineral, bitumen and stone is meticulously weighed via electrical weighing systems and added to the mixer in measured doses. The mixer is equipped with two cardan shaft synchronised drives and can be completely folded away for maintenance purposes. At Benninghoven the follow-up maintenance costs are taken into account. Simple maintenance reduces costs and directly contributes to success.

Chassis 5 – Bitumen tank:

A mobile bitumen tank with highly efficient insulation, together with a filling and dosing pump, is also supplied as standard. The system can expanded as required by adding other tanks. The tanks are generally heated via electrical systems and are effectively insulated against any heat radiation. Here too, Benninghoven is mindful of your operating costs.

Chassis 6 – Command cabin:

A mobile command cabin with optimally positioned windows provides a perfect panoramic view of the mixing area. The air-conditioned cabin with control panel and a clearly-structured computerised control system offers the operator a complete overview of all processes that are taking place. The mixing processes are documented individually, enabling excellent plant statistics and cost calculation. All drives with a capacity above 9.2 kW are started via a soft starter, and the installed frequency converter technology only takes the power that is actually needed. This makes plant operation extremely efficient and makes it possible to constantly achieve optimal production conditions.
