World Premiere of PALFINGER SANY Truck-mounted Telescopic Crane Series at CTT 2014 in Moscow

PALFINGER SANY Cranes’ second participation at CTT was a complete success

The 15th International Show of Construction Equipment and Technologies (CTT) in Moscow from 3rd to 7th of June 2014 was a great success for the PALFINGER SANY Mobile Cranes’ team. It was the second time for the joint venture company, participating in the most important international trade show for Russia and the CIS states at Crocus Expo Hall in Moscow.

This year the world premiere of new PALFINGER SANY Truck-mounted Telescopic Crane Series took centre stage. Further product launches and developments for the Russian market were presented. Many interested persons, dealers and customers could have a look at the entire product range and get detailed information.

Review of the main PALFINGER SANY Mobile Cranes’ highlights at CTT 2014

Also at this year’s CTT PALFINGER SANY Mobile Cranes was located on the extensive SANY outdoor area. It was the perfect opportunity for the world premiere of the PALFINGER SANY Truck-mounted Telescopic Crane Series. For the first time the PALFINGER SANY SPC250 models, with lifting capacity of 25 tons and mounted on Kamaz chassis were presented to the public. Especially for this world premiere there was a press conference intended on CTT’s second day, the 4th of June 2014. Incidentally this was one of the hottest days according to temperature records since 1897. Nevertheless, many journalists attended the press conference and the contemporaneous launch of PALFINGER SANY SPC250, a joint product of PALFINGER, SANY and the truck manufacturer Kamaz. This three companies met under the sun on stage of SANY outdoor booth. A number of speeches were made by Mr. Qi (Vice President of SANY Group and General Manager of SANY Heavy Lifting), Mr. Ortner (Chief Executive Office of PALFINGER AG) and Mr. Pronin (Deputy General Director special Purpose Vehicle KAMAZ). After the official ceremony and the formal ribbon’s cut, journalists were invited to ask questions to Mr. Pilz (Chief Marketing Officer of PALFINGER AG), Mr. Gorpinich (General Director of PALFINGER SANY Cranes LLC) and Mr. Gruböck (General Manager of PALFINGER SANY International Mobile Cranes Sales GmbH) about the joint venture’s further projects and the new cooperation with Kamaz for Truck-mounted Telescopic Cranes.

During this press conference Mr. Gruböck and Mr. Gorpinich pointed out that PALFINGER SANY wants to convince customers with an excellent lifting performance to price ratio, easy to use and robust technology, 2 years warranty on the complete crane and after sales service provided by PALFINGER SANY and KAMAZ. Mr. Pilz expressed his confidence that the close cooperation between KAMAZ and PALFINGER SANY on product development and mounting on KAMAZ chassis will bring costs and performance benefits to end customers. Mr. Gorpinich also announced that PALFINGER SANY together with KAMAZ will launch additional Truck mounted Telescopic Cranes up to a lifting capacity of 50tons within the next months.

In general the specialities of the PALFINGER SANY Cranes attracted a lot of attention among visitors and potential customers, which even arrived from far reaches of Russia. This also contributed to the special shows at the SANY booth. There was a top-class ballet dance performance according to the ballet Nutcracker, a lottery where various prizes were raffled by the SANY Group and a special show of a violin trio, who performed three times each day.
PALFINGER SANY Cranes looks back at a very successful exhibition. Many interesting dealer contacts in the CIS region were achieved, as well as orders and many potential customers were reached. PALFINGER SANY expects that the positive response of this exhibition will lead in many successful projects.
