Yale increases footprint in Turkey with new dealer appointment

Yale Europe Materials Handling has increased its presence in Turkey with the appointment of Universal Handlers as its exclusive dealer for the country. 

Universal Handlers is part of STFA Group who is one of the biggest conglomerates Turkey. The company’s appointment as the exclusive sales and service dealer for Turkey reinforces Yale’s position as an increasingly important brand in the European materials handling equipment market.

With an extensive range of Yale warehouse equipment and counterbalance forklift trucks, Universal Handlers can now provide customers across Turkey with a significant range of products and services from this leading global brand. 

Richard Root, Yale EMEA director of dealer business development, said he was delighted with the new appointment. “Universal Handlers is a well-established company with an excellent reputation. They have previously worked with the Yale brand so both parties are delighted to be moving our relationship forward with their status as exclusive dealer.

Established in 2003, Universal Handlers has over 100 employees, operating a 24 hour, 7 day a week service. Six workshops, located in İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Eskişehir and Adana, together with a field team, ensures that customers all over the country are served effectively and efficiently. 

Universal Handlers serves a large part of the Turkish materials handling sector, including large industrial and commercial customers, many of which are featured in the ‘first 500 list’ of Turkey. 

Its core business is the sale, rental, aftersales and spare parts management of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment, currently operating a fleet of more than 1,500 machines.
