EXPOCITY is one of Japan’s largest shopping complexes, with over 300 outlet stores and eight large-scale recreational facilities, spanning over 170,000 square meters. To provide visitors with the ultimate climate comfort, Yanmar GHP (gas heat pump) air-conditioning systems were selected not only for their reputation of reliability, but also for their low carbon emissions, reduced energy consumption and broad power range. With environmental conservation in high priority, Yanmar's air-conditioning systems emit 26.5% less carbon dioxide compared to electric heat pump (EHP) systems. In addition, by using Yanmar’s own gas engines, they lead the industry in ultra-silent operation for maximum user comfort. To ensure continuous operation 10 "High Power Plus"1 emergency units are on year round standby to supply power the event of electrical failures.
