This new engine is based on the existing fully electronically-controlled 4TNV94CHT, equipped with a common rail system, EGR, and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). SCR technology is being introduced to comply with new regulations expected to reduce 90% of Nox.

By adding optimized SCR to Yanmar’s direct injection system, the new model offers;

High power density
High torque at low speed
Low fuel and urea consumption

Yanmar’s unique DPF regeneration technology is applied to this engine, the same as with other TNV common rail engines. Therefore, operation can continue without stopping for DPF regeneration. Yanmar offers extremely long maintenance intervals for DPF cleaning. This contributes greatly to customers’ productivity.

Resulting from urea aqueous spray simulation analysis, Yanmar has eliminated Mixer from SCR system. There is no requirement to take care of urea deposit and/or heat-cycle fatigue on mixer parts. This provides high degrees of reliability and durability for users.

The new 4TNV94FHT has the same footprint as other 4TNV98C and 4TNV98CT engines. It extends the product line-up range.

Yanmar plays a significant role in the furtherance of advanced technology and is committed to improving customers’ productivity and the world’s industrial development.
