Zoomlion Earthmoving Equipment Penetrates the Saudi Market

Zoomlion's first promotional event showcasing earthmoving products to the Saudi market in 2015 was held on May 12 in Jeddah, the country's economic center. Since then, Zoomlion has received more than 50 product orders from Saudi Arabia for earthmoving products.

Zoomlion's new flagship earthmoving machinery products, the ZE210E excavator and the ZD320-3 bulldozer, have been designed specifically for the Middle East market and attracted a great deal of attention at the promotional event. The models have been designed by Zoomlion to withstand the high temperatures of Saudi Arabia so that they can better meet the requirements posed by local construction conditions. Excellent performance is a fundamental requirement, but customers have been flocking to sign orders mainly because of Zoomlion's brand influence, especially as a result of its excellent pre- and after-sales service network and logistical and financing support in Saudi Arabia. 

The promotional event has further consolidated and strengthened Zoomlion's sales strategy and brand awareness in the Saudi market, increasing the awareness and understanding of local customers toward Zoomlion and its earthmoving products, thereby enhancing customer confidence. 

Under Zoomlion's "going global" strategy, the Earthmoving Machinery Branch Company and its agents have developed a long-term development strategy for the Saudi market involving providing incentives to customers in areas such as price, financing, services, and accessories, as well as continuing promotional events in Riyadh, Dammam, and other cities, to drive on-going sales of Zoomlion earthmoving products. 

As part of its internationalization strategy, in the past few years Zoomlion has established relationships in Saudi Arabia and a number of other Middle Eastern countries. As a result of these efforts, Zoomlion tower cranes currently enjoy the leading market share in Saudi Arabia. The signing last year of a strategic cooperation agreement between Zoomlion and Al Shawaf Trading Company, one of Saudi Arabia's largest family-owned businesses, has allowed Zoomlion to enter a new phase in terms of putting down roots in the Saudi market.
