With the development of science and technology, CCTV used a lot of new technologies and equipment in the military parade this year, including the “Aerial 2D Cableway Wired Camera System” positioned and supported by Zoomlion’s two Q95 cranes in Chang’an Avenue. As the world’s longest 2D cableway wired camera system currently, the 560-meter cableway camera system was used to shoot state leaders watching the parade and the parade square formations.

The Zoomlion 80-ton truck crane (QY80) standing to the west of the Great Hall of the People supported the CCTV-developed “Skyhawk” Camera System which was used for the first time in a major event. It was mainly used to shoot the parade from the front side.

New shooting technique needs more stable and safe equipment. Thus, Zoomlion which always pursues best quality with “craftsmanship” became CCTV’s best partner.

“Due to its faultless performance, and the high safety, stability and reliability of its products, we invited Zoomlion again to provide multiple products for assisting our shooting and asked Zoomlion to send fire engines to help us set up the ‘Skyhawk’ Camera System we used for the first time in a major event. Mutual trust and rapport have been established between us after our previous perfect cooperation in the military parade marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,” said Zhang Ao, producer for CCTV “Live Broadcast of the Military Parade Marking the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War”.

Zoomlion dispatched some high-end products besides the three large cranes, such as 16t cranes, 60m aerial ladder trucks, 53m aerial ladder trucks and 33m pump trucks, which were distributed in the core area of the Tiananmen Square and along Chang’an Avenue in full support of the live broadcast of the parade.
