Mosul Dam Project - Maintenance grouting and rehabilitation of the bottom outlet tunnels
For the first time, our camera crews got access to one of the most complex construction sites in the world, filming the safety operations carried out at the Mosul dam in Iraq from a perspective that has never been seen before. Under the Works Management of USACE (the US Army Corps of Engineers), commissioned by the Iraqi Water Resources Ministry, Trevi is successfully facing a human and technological challenge covered by media from all around the world: carrying out the maintenance works of one of the most impressive dams in the Middle East. For this project, Trevi is using highly advanced equipment and technologies and training Iraqi workers on how to use them, through a real training school created on site, which takes advantage of the Trevi Group Academy experience. Thanks to the support of the contingents of the Italian Army, Trevi has been working daily, since March 2016, 24 hours a day, in one of the most sensitive areas of the planet. Thanks to his work and experience, Trevi has secured a dam with known problems, assuring electricity and water to population and activities in a wide area of Northern Iraq. Watch the video and discover the safety operations carried out in the Mosul Dam.
