Vögele SUPER 2100-5 X: Motorway Paving in Brazil with new Large-Scale Paver

The Vögele SUPER 2100-5 X is at work on a motorway rehabilitation project near São Simão in the state of São Paulo. Brazil’s road network is exposed to heavy traffic and tough weather conditions, so damaged sections must be resurfaced quickly and to a high standard. Val Rocha Engenharia has been a Wirtgen Group customer for many years and delivers major infrastructure projects across Brazil. To strengthen its fleet for big road contracts, the company was the first contractor in Brazil to add the new highway-class paver from the Vögele “Dash 5” generation. Rafael Valentini, Senior Sales Manager Latin America at Vögele, explains the key figures: a 14-tonne material hopper and a laydown rate of up to 1,100 tonnes per hour. Assistance systems and digital site documentation help reduce setup times and keep paving quality consistent on large jobs. Val Rocha Engenharia's customers expect a lot, and the contractor relies on the paver for an even, smooth asphalt surface. Operator Otair Castro de Melo found the new machine easy to learn: “Operating these machines is really easy.
