2 Years – 2 Nominations – 2 Awards

At the end of March, 2013, this year’s IAPA awards were presented in Miami, USA. Last year, RUTHMANN won this coveted prize with the STEIGER® T 330. This year, it was the STEIGER® T 540 of the HEIGHT performance series that won over the international jury and left the competition behind.

The 2013 IAPA awards were presented at the Hilton Hotel in Miami, USA on the 26th of March.  More than 350 industry experts from around the world were in attendance.

The IAPA presentation (International Award for Powered Access)  is the most important award ceremony in the work platform industry. It recognizes extraordinary achievements and the most innovative developments. This worldwide competition has been jointly organized by Access International and IPAF for the past 5 years.

This award underscores the popularity of the successful HEIGHT performance series.  This “heavy machinery” series was first introduced a year ago but by March, 2013 over 50 units had already been sold. RUTHMANN, which has been producing STEIGER ® work platforms since 1954, had never before sold this much machinery (in this category) to its worldwide customers in such a short period of time.

The real beneficiaries of this development are the customers that have acquired the STEIGER ® T 540 or other models in the HEIGHT performance series. They are the ones who are able to enjoy the many benefits of this innovative new design on a daily basis. RUTHMANN now routinely hands over machinery on a weekly basis.

Aside from the new boom concept, the new series offers many other advantages. RUTHMANN has paid special attention to the equipment in and on the working cage. This is, after all, the hub of activity from where the operator carries out his daily assignments.
