2016 NEFP Expo Review

The annual New England Forest Products Expo in Essex Junction, Vermont was in full swing once again and Terex Environmental Equipment (TEE) made its presence known with a strong turnout from its Ecotec product range. Demonstrating three of its products, hundreds of onlookers were educated firsthand on the power and efficiency from Terex Ecotec’s grinder, chipper and excavator attachment range.

The TBG 650 Horizontal Grinder (CBI 5800BT) and TBC 435T ChipMax Drum Chipper (CBI 484BT ChipMax) processed softwood and hardwood while the TEELog and Stump Screw split oversized logs into material that could be ground and chipped. Ecotec sales representatives were available for the two-day show’s entirety to speak with prospective customers and anyone generally interested in each machine located at its 200’ x 85’ show site. The TBC 435 ChipMax (CBI 484BP ChipMax), Phoenix 2100 Trommel and CBI 7544 Flail and Chipper were available for static display.

“This is the biggest show the northeast has to offer as far the forestry industry is concerned,” said TEE Ecotec North American Sales Director Art Murphy. “There was a lot of activity in meeting with the crowd and giving them an education on not only what these machines do but also why they are smart investment for a business’s long term profitability.”

TEE worked with local Vermont loggers and excavation companies to make sure the appropriate equipment and material were available for show demonstrations. Both Barnard Excavation and Logging and Catamount Forest Products provided the necessary resources and the end result was large crowds to gathering as soon as each TEE machine fired up for 10-minute demonstrations.

“We’re happy to see that each of our machines pleased the show attendees as well as give prospective customers an idea of how powerful and efficient our machines are,” said Murphy.
